The Sims 4 adalah game life-simulation utama keempat dalam The Sims Series. Secara resmi dijadwalkan The Sims 4 rilis pada tanggal 2 September 2014. Sama seperti The Sims 3, Electronic Arts juga menjadi publisher The Sims 4 sedangkan untuk developer adalah The Sims Studio dan Maxis. Berdasarkan tweet seorang SimGuru (pegawai di EA), platform sedang difokuskan kepada Windows tetapi ada juga yang mengatakan akan keluar pula untuk versi Mac OS X.
